successfully completed a search for a major Twin Cities
Metro area Hospital. This client has experienced
tremendous growth in the Radiology department and has
grown to over 65 FTE's. The growth was a mixed blessing,
critical staffing needs and management issues became
more acute, and Hospital Management recognized the need
to bring someone on board with a history of managing
high volume, high stress radiology environments and the
Staffing challenges that come with the territory.
Personality, temperance and cultural fit were critical
elements of success for the right candidate and the
client. After carefully understanding the client’s
needs, cultural landscape and workplace dynamics, we
knew what we were looking for. Our search strategy
involved direct sourcing from high volume hospitals
within a 30 mile radius of the clients and recruiting in
concentric geographic circles until the right candidate
was found. We looked for a candidate that was looking
for a move upward in management and wanted to be
positioned for a future Directorship and was looking for
the right opportunity. We also knew we had to have a
candidate with proven mental toughness in managing high
volume acute care radiology departments, must have a
proven record in reducing costly Travel Staff and hiring
and retaining permanent staff. We knew that this
candidate must also possess calm, warming hands-on
management style. After 4 weeks of intensive screening
we found the right fit, because of our knowledge of the
industry we networked into a candidate that had reduced
costly Travelers in a local high volume Acute Care X Ray
Department from 18 to only one. We learned that this
candidate was able to hire and retain permanent staff
because of his changing the culture, atmosphere and
reputation of the department in the imaging community.
We knew this was our candidate. We were successful in
recruiting and placing this candidate, both the client
and candidate are pleased with the mutual fit, timing
the outcome and feel it was a win-win for everyone.

IT industry since 1997, in late 2003 we received a call
from a rapidly expanding consulting firm in Minneapolis.
The firm had a burgeoning QA and Data Warehouse practice
locally but had The problem. they were expanding rapidly
in Dallas and California, had projects they needed to
staff immediately or lose credibility with their end
client, America's leading mortgage bank. The problem:
Our Client based in Minneapolis is able to attract and
retain specialists at home but had limited name
recognition and presence in markets outside of
Minnesota. Monster and other leading boards provided a
flow of resumes, but they needed consultants that had
excellent written and verbal skills and were US
Citizens, this was an end user requirement. We knew we
had to build a network fast and expand the candidate
pool of software testers. Through our experience we
tapped the consultant community fast, manually developed
a referral base and was able to fill all positions
immediately.

agency it's impossible to know the nuances of every
position, especially when the position we are hired to
fill are often highly specialized, niche oriented. Every

Recently, a leading Life Sciences company in
Minneapolis, retained us to find a Director of
Pharmacovigilance for their exploding Neutraceutical,
